The Mekong Delta is the southernmost region of Vietnam. It is often referred to as the rice bowl of Vietnam as it produces three harvests per year. The fertile Mekong Delta is also famous for its tropical fruits and flowers. The delta area marks the end of a 4,500km journey made by the Mekong River after having traveled through six countries. Mỹ Tho is one of the biggest cities in the Mekong Delta, dotted with serene Buddhist pagodas and surrounded by dense rivers. Many great destinations for visitors have been established by the local government and private companies, serving thousands of tourists every day. We recommend this tour for those who want to get an overview of the Mekong Delta for a few delightful hours.

What To Expect
Pick-up Time: between 8:00a.m. - 08:30a.m. at hotels located in District 1; and drive 1,5 hours to the Mekong River. We will stop along the way for refreshments and toilet.

5.00When you go to the Mekong Delta, Joey must be your tour guide. She is very friendly, speaks excellent English, knowledgeable and in control of the tour. There are many different aspects to this tour and you need a guide who makes you feel comfortable in a new environment. A small group is advisable. My Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the Mekong Delta. The food was great and we saw so much new and interesting things. The Mekong Delta and the people are unique and one of a kind.

5.00Amazing tour. Picked up right on time, loved every stop we made. Ethan was a great and very knowledgeable guide who made the whole experience extra special. My favorite part was riding down the river with the local rowers.

Hung was truly fantastic, highly knowledgeable, and always polite. He shared so many interesting facts about the local culture and traditions. His cheerful energy made our day even more beautiful and special. We highly recommend this tour with him!

5.00We had a great day trip with our guide Ethan! He is very knowledgeable about the local culture and has outstanding communication skills. He made sure we were comfortable and happy throughout the day. The itinerary was ideal for us. We saw plenty of things around the Mekong delta without it becoming too much. The included lunch was excellent. Due to cancellation of some other guests, we ended up having a private tour. Overall a wonderful experience.

5.00Once again a day at the Mekong reminds you how wonderful and fragile this country has been - to now grow in time to be totally different. Our guide for the day was none other than W Hung - terrific guide with wonderful self taught English. His passion and love for his country shone through from the time we started to the end. As always its a long day! However it drifts into insignificance - when you finish the learning experience from the day. Vinh Trang Temple as always was great to visit - able to see the Monks at lunch. The visit to the family village - listen to their music and enjoy fresh fruits. The Coconut Factory is brilliant - taste the Snake and Scorpion wine - then tom lunch and a ride in the canals - Incredible Value for Money Dave - Canberra Australia
