David contacted us two days before our tour to discuss pickup location and itinerary. He was timely and flexible and allowed us to replace a castle tour with a tour of the Dumferline Abbey. David picked us up just a few steps from the cruise ship dock. He drove us to the Abbey and then on to St Andrews. We needed a few extra minutes in town and he accommodated our request. We did not get to visit the local castle and cathedral ruins so David drove us by there for pics. We visited a small fishing village on the way back to the boat.

Felt like an uber ride. Wish guide had more knowledge of Scotland and the areas. We had several hours in the car that it was just silent. We tried asking questions to get a conversation going but got one word answers

Terrific day trip from Edinburgh to visit the home of golf. Stuart the driver/guide is a veritable encyclopedia of knowledge about Scotland’s history, culture, food, etc. very entertaining mix of tidbits and music for the ride. His recommendation to go to ESF: Edinburgh Street Food which is a 5” walk from St Andrews Sq was spot on!

Loved St. Andrews. Lovely drive up and back with excellent narration by David. He was very flexible with our lunch time and pickup and most importantly, he happily retrieved our mobile phone which we had left in his car and returned to our ship. Beyond the call of duty for sure. Thank you, David, for a wonderful day!

Punctual and accommodating. We got to experience Falkland and Anstruther thanks to his knowledge. Although it wasn’t the purpose of our trip, we highly recommend him for an Outlander tour.

Eric the tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable of all the stops - and accommodating with the pick ups. The van was comfortable with an excellent driver. The recommendations of food and shopping were excellent and made for a pleasant day with enough time to enjoy the stops - and scenery. Eric seems to be a proud Scotsman and will answer any question you have which made the day a great time.

We very much wanted to spend some time at St Andrews and the other stops on this tour. We enjoyed all the spots, but our tour guide wasn't very effective and the size of the vehicle for a party of four was not acceptable for the money. Our tour guide David, had very low personality and didn't have a lot of valuable historical information to share during the driving times. The care was a small sedan which was not appropriate for 4 adult visitors as three of us were crunched in the back seat, while my son had to sit in the front seat with the tour guide/driver.

Good guide, gave us great tips and then let us explore on our own. Knowledgeable about the area and answers for all our questions.
