What To Expect

We will meet in the midst of Strossmayer Park, locally known as 'Đardin', next to the central fountain. Our story of Split will begin with the tale of water, which brings life to the Palace for over 17 centuries.
Our first sight will not be a glamorous one, but it will help us better understand what makes the city of Split truly unique worldwide. Prepare to travel 1,700 years into the past.

5.00Our guide, Josipa, was amazing! She asked great questions of us before we headed into Diocletian’s Palace and put a lot of context behind the architecture, history, and layout of this amazing Roman Palace. Josipa was filled with knowledge and insights, pointing out specifics and details that you may overlook just walking around on your own. She was very informative, pleasant and had a nice sense of humor to keep the tour positive and educational.

5.00Our family of four had a fantastic time!! Josipa was very kind and patient with our eleven and eight year old children. She had such interesting stories, they ended up loving the tour just as much as my husband and I did! She has a love for history and a love for Croatia and it shows. All of the little details she was able to showcase made us appreciate Split SO much more than we could have on our own. There are many hidden jewels and having such a small tour allowed us to ask questions and go at our own pace. We are American and she made us feel incredibly welcome. Thank you, Josipa!

5.00I was born and raised in Split and booked Josipa because I thought I could learn something from her. And I wasn’t wrong. Josipa is konwledgeable, professional and warm. She took me to some hidden gems outside the regular route and I really had a great time with her.
