What To Expect

7AM - calmer waters, first boats to Molokini so less crowded! 9:30 - warmer temperatures outside (ocean still same mid-70s temp) 2hr Molokini Crater Snorkel Trip. Snorkel the crystal clear waters of Molokini Crater 3 miles off the coast of South Maui. A quick 15 minute ride to the crater and 1+ hour of snorkel time inside the crater. We provide snorkel gear and fins for everyone. Not suitable for anyone with previous or present back, neck, head injuries or anyone currently pregnant.

Captain Sean & Lara were top notch. Although the waves were rocking, they ensured we had a great time. The fish wrre incredible. We even had an unexpected False Killer Whale Sighting. It was a top notch trip!
Awesome snorkeling option without the unnecessary stuff.

We wanted to snorkel Molokini but didn't want (or need) breakfast, lunch, a second snorkel stop or 40 to 60 other people on the same boat. Redline delivered! Friendly, fun, safety conscience crew (Tim and Emma) gave us a great experience. We are very glad we snorkeled Molokini and chose Redline. Definitely recommend and would go with again.

Had a fantastic time. The guides were awesome, friendly and knowledgeable of the area. They set us down in the perfect location. The fish were abundant and the reef was beautiful despite it being a cloudy morning. I would HIGHLY recommend this experience and I would definitely do the 7am again. See you guys next time I'm on Maui!

Everything was as booked and even better. We had actually only prepared for fish. But what we were offered was simply world class. We were lucky to see not only a blacktip reef shark but also 2 whale sharks. Simply incredible. Best tour ever.

Crew was nice, friendly, knowledgable, and took safety seriously. The spot itself seemed dead compared to other places I’ve been around the world. Charter was great, destination not so much.

Absolutely amazing! This experience exceeded my expectations. Our guides, Matty and Jake, went above and beyond for everyone. Safety and comfort were clearly their top priority and they made the whole trip so much fun. Low-key wish I was besties with them. The tour starts at a meeting point where you sign a waiver, then you’re loaded onto a small boat. You store your belongings in a dry compartment and it’s about a 15 to 20 minute ride out to Molokini. Once there, you get a quick safety briefing and a bit of history about the area before jumping in to snorkel. Both Matty and Jake were incredible throughout the entire experience, constantly checking on everyone, making sure people felt safe, and genuinely adding to the fun of the trip. Could not recommend this more. I will definitely be using this tour group from here on out. We did the two hour tour, which was perfect for our timeframe. They also offer a five hour option that goes to multiple locations, as well as a whale season tour, which I plan to come back for. I will be recommending this group to anyone going to Maui in the future. We were surrounded by fish constantly, and even saw a baby shark and an eel, which made it even more unforgettable.

Super great experience. Guides were so informative and helpful and just the perfect amount of time to snorkel without feeling like it was too much. Would do again.
