What To Expect
Bua Thong Waterfalls (Nam Phu Chet Si)
We will head directly to the Bua Tong waterfall, which is about an 80-minute drive. We will spend around an hour there to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Explore to experience the natural adventure at Bua Tong Waterfall to breathe in the fresh mountain air and enjoy the calming sounds of the waterfall. Next, we will go to the elephant sanctuary, and it takes 40 for drive.
After waterfall, we will be heading to elephant sanctuary, which is about 40 minutes away. Elephant Sanctuary is an elephant conservation park located in the scenic Mae Tang Valley, just an hour’s drive from Chiang Mai. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we transitioned into a conservation-focused sanctuary. Our herd of 16 elephants thrives in a stress-free environment, where they spend their days eating, playing, and enjoying natural behaviors without the pressures of rides or shows.

5.00We love our tour guide Amy❤️she's the best and the whole tour has been really engaging and informative. It was worth the money. They offered the chance to bathe with the elephants too (although we didn't). Also big shoutout to our furry friend Bobby 🐕he's so cute.

5.00Highly recommend Nathan and his team. Took a family of 5 with 3 little boys. They were very accommodating, courteous and kind throughout the trip. Also, loved the pick-up/drop-off at our hotel. Highly recommend.

5.00It was everything we hoped for and more. We started out at the amazing waterfall which was such a fun climb. It was my 6 year old's favorite. We then went to the ultimate and intimate elephant experience and walked along those majestic behemoths. Something that cannot be expressed in words. Then a moment to relax and take it all in on a calming bamboo ride. Paul, our guide, and his team were great. We highly recommend.

4.00Elephants were neat. Not that much food or time to actually feed them though. This tour didn't really spend much time or effort getting into the water and bathing the like some other groups did. We didn't get a bucket so just had to splash them and it was ankle deep.

5.00Today’s experience was truly unforgettable!!! You must book this elephant sanctuary while visiting Thailand. Poppy our tour guide was so much fun and very knowledgeable. He captured all the moments we didn’t get to because we were enjoying the moment. The Karen village was also a very cool part of the experience I would highly recommend ! Along with the waterfall. Water was cool and refreshing.

5.00Great experience, sticky waterfall was a fun sight to see and climb! Elephant sanctuary was definitely the highlight- to be up close to these huge creatures was amazing. Fluke, our guide was great - he was very knowledgeable about everything we encountered and made sure our entire group was comfortable. Overall a great experience!
