She operated in and around Haarlem, and her story—marked by bravery, sacrifice, and betrayal—is one of the most poignant of the war. Here, under the shade of old trees and surrounded by 19th-century architecture, you'll hear how ordinary Dutch citizens became extraordinary heroes. We’ll share stories of espionage, sabotage, and the underground networks that helped hide Jewish families and resist occupation. Beyond the memorial, you’ll have time to reflect, take photos, and absorb the peacefulness of the park—a striking contrast to the turbulent history we explore.

5.00A great experience. Our guide was great. He was fun and knowledgeable about the history of WW II. A great tour of the city. The Corrie Ten Boom house was a bit of a disappointment. There was no one to give a tour of the house.

5.00Had a fantastic tour with Manuel, seeing the highlights of Haarlem and diving into the remarkable story of Corrie Ten Boom and her family. Manuel was a terrific guide and the city of Haarlem was beautiful and a nice change after several days in Amsterdam. Reasonable price for the tour. Smaller group that we politely and respectful - no need for speakers or headphones.

And even though we had already read the book and watched various shows on Corrie ten Boom, we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience, and learned even more! I would recommend this to anyone interested in the history of Corrie ten Boom and Haarlem.

5.00Manuel was great! He was interesting and compassionate and knowledgeable and also lots of fun. There was a lot of walking so you have to be ready for that. One highlight was going into “The Dome”which used to house a prison in a massive circular building but is now a very cool public area. Highly recommend this tour!

5.00If you have a choice, I would book this tour over a tour of the Corrie Ten Boon house. It is such a wonderful 2 1/2 hour walking tour and review of Corrie’s life, the faith that kept her strong through difficult times, the places that her footsteps touched and also other important facts about the resistance movement in the Netherlands.
