Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 300 lbs (136 kg or 21 stone) will be required to purchase an additional seat. This is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour.
The total combined passenger weight (including pilot) cannot exceed 1170lbs (530kg)
There is a maximum capacity of seven (7) people per helicopter, plus your pilot.
Per FAA Regulations, original government issued photo ID such as a REAL-ID compliant driver's license or a valid passport is required for all travelers over the age of 18. Photocopies or digital IDs are not accepted. Any guest arriving without original, government-issued identification will be denied check-in, and no refunds will be issued for any guest in the reservation.
Due to uneven terrain at the Grand Canyon, wheelchairs are not able to be accommodated.
Helicopter seating is based on legal weight & balance limits and will be assigned after check-in. Maverick Helicopters does not guarantee seating next to or in the same row of the rest of the party.”

5.00Maverick Helicopters tour of the Grand Canyon was a good experience. Nice flight out to the Canyon, some additional details on the way out and same with the trip back. Nice stop in the Canyon for snacks (pretzels, peanuts etc) and drinks (water, soft drinks, champagne). Nice quick trip to check the Grand Canyon box and, if you’ve never been in a helicopter you’ll check that box too. Our pilot was good, answered questions along the way, swapped positions for everyone at different legs so everyone could sit up front for different viewing perspectives. I’d recommend.
