The Puffing Billy steam train is definitely a one-of-it’s kind! Sitting on the railing with your legs dangling outside as you pass by the beautiful landscape is an experience in itself. The redwood forests and the trail is one to remember, along with the beautiful Yarra river. The trip ends with a visit to the wine yard nestled in the heart of the valley. It is a trip that will leave you wishing to never leave. Robbo was an excellent guide who was very knowledgeable about the place.

What a great day! Jono picked us up on time and kept the day running smoothly. We booked as a group of four adults and thoroughly enjoyed the 30min Puffing Billy train ride to Menzies Creek. Everyone on train had smiles on their faces enjoying the fresh air and the joy of the train ride. We stopped at the Redwood Forest which was beautiful and enjoyed pies at Warburton. The main street was cute with plenty of food options available. The wine tasting spot had a pretty view too. It really was a great day out, we were lucky to have perfect weather and Jono was a wonderful tour guide, taking plenty of photos and making sure everyone had a good time. One thing to note is that the bus has limited leg room. If you are tall you may need to ask for the passenger front seat.

Our tour guide Michael was very sincere and professional, and thanks to him we were able to enjoy the tour very comfortably. He also provided a lot of useful information for the participants, which was very helpful. I went to the restaurant he recommended and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner there.

We had a wonderful day out to the Redwoods and Yarra valley and absolutely loved the experience. A very special thanks and shout out to our lovely, enthusiastic tour guide Angel/Sofia - she was knowledgable about the area and above all, brought heaps of good cheer and laughter (not to miss the great music! ) to make it a really enjoyable day. Sofia went out of her way to show us the special spots as she took us through the beautiful countryside. Certainly recommend this tour and huge thanks to you Sofia. Take care and hope to meet again! I'm a solo traveler and joined a group tour led by Mel. She is absolutely delightful and ensured that everyone in the group was comfortable and got acquainted. She shared great fun facts, gave us lots of laughs, and kept us on schedule while being very relaxed. Mel took great videos while we were on the steam train and was a stellar photographer at other locations, especially the redwoods. The day was fantastic and increased my interest in learning more about Melbourne. My next order of business is to tell my colleagues to secure their spots on this tour and cross their fingers that they get Mel.
