An incredibly eye-opening tour that brings you on a cultural, political and artistic journey of the city of Florence. Beautiful frescos envelop the church from above and graves of powerful figures demand your attention from below. We had a wonderful guide Mona who enthusiastically gave us a rich understanding of the church’s history and significance in Florentine and Italian history. I highly recommend this beautiful tour and amazing guide. A must-do in Florence!

A fascinating immersion into the history of Florence A very beautiful discovery of the Santa Croce basilica, a true pantheon of Florence, where many personalities who contributed to the city's greatness are laid to rest. Only Dante is missing, although a magnificent statue of him stands right in front of the church. Our guide Giulia, passionate about art and history, took us on a journey through the centuries. Thanks to her captivating explanations, she shared numerous anecdotes about the great men buried in the basilica and provided us with a detailed presentation of the architecture as well as the history of Santa Croce. An exciting tour that I highly recommend to anyone who wishes to better understand the history and exceptional heritage of Florence.
