This is the best half day mountain tour to get out of Denver and see the mountains without spending an entire day touring. These small group tours are designed to get you out to See, Learn and Explore not just drive past. This tour really highlights the best of our Denver Mountain Park system. Visit Red Rocks Park and amphitheater, then travel up into the mountains via Bear Creek Canyon to the quaint mountain town of Evergreen. Browse the local shops or enjoy a quick drink in the Saloon, winery, or local coffee shop. Witness beautiful Rocky Mountain vistas while climbing over a beautiful mountain pass to Echo Lake at 10,600 ft. Stroll around this beautiful glacial lake sitting at the base of 14,256 foot Mt. Blue Sky and enjoy the mountain scenery. Travel by historic Genesee Mountain Park while viewing herds of Buffalo and Elk on your way back into Denver. *Wildlife viewing not guaranteed.

We recommend a jacket year round as the mountains are always colder than Denver. In the winter hat and gloves are recommended as well.
Children under 4 years old not permitted
Access into the amphitheatre is dependent on sound check closures by performers the day of. We recommend taking our morning tour for best chances of accessing the inside of the amphitheatre itself during concert seasons.

5.00We had a great tour to the iconic Red Rock Amphitheater, Evergreen & Echo Lake. Spacious & clean shuttle. Michelle was our tour guide. She is very nice and well knowledge about the area. She provided some snacks & refilled our water bottle, and even took our pictures. 100% recommended!

5.00I booked this excursion for my daughter and I. It was such a great experience. I was able to see some great locations. We went to the Red Rock Amphitheater, Echo Lake, a little town and some stunning views from the mountains just to name a few. Not only was the tour guide amazing but the group that was on the tour was so much fun. I had the good fortune of being with a group from the UK, Scotland and Ireland. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00Great way to spend an afternoon. I had never been to Echo Lake (stunning setting) or Idaho Springs (fun little town) and not familiar with the aspen trees that grow there…..enjoyed all the history our guide Will provided us. I would definitely recommend.
