The most amazing experience run by an amazing team. Captain Roman, First Mate/photographer Luke, Dan, Fawkes and Jake. Jake was the guide for our half of the boat and his, friendliness, knowledge and experience just made the trip for us. We saw Orca, Humpback, Sealions, Seals and Bald Eagles. Boat which holds 98 people but theses are smaller groups of around 30 people. No crowding, no having to grab a space and stay there. Freedom to walk to wherever the sightings are. Jake takes photos and videos so all you have to do is marvel at it all.If you're thinking of going on a trip, go with these guys. You won't be disappointed! Thank you so much!

Captain and crew was very mindful of the safety of both the guests and the animals we encountered. When we spotted both humpbacks and orcas, they were able to quickly identify each animals and relay interesting information about their lives.

Our family had an amazing time during the whale watching adventure. Captain Roman, Luke, Jake, Dan, and Fawkes were great. The travel was very smooth and Jake was in constant communication let us know everything we were watching, historical tidbits, a wealth of information, as well as great anecdotes. We got to see a couple of pairs of humpback whales, sea lions, seals, bald eagles. And we were extremely fortunate to have one pair of the whales breach right next to us and the other pair just "play" around the boat. It was a great experience and very well run. We highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience! The boat was spacious and clean with options for outdoor and indoor seating. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and shared educational tidbits that were easy to follow and understand. The team found wildlife for our viewing and took photos for us so that we could just enjoy the experience at the moment. Great family activity!

I had the privilege of joining the half day whale watching excursion today. It was the experience of a lifetime. We saw humpback whales, seals, eagles and ORCAS! First, the boat was spacious and comfortable with lots of room, drinks, and washrooms. However, what really made the experience shine was the crew! They stuck with it until the very end of the journey when we unexpectedly came across a pod of 4 orcas. It was neat seeing the crew get as excited as we did. The authenticity of their care was undeniable and you can tell that they love their jobs. We had a great time, listening to information about the whales and even learning their names! The crew let the adventure go a bit over time so that we could enjoy the time watching the orcas. I was so excited to see the whales that I forgot to get my phone out; luckily the crew was equipped with a photographer who took pictures throughout, and these were sent to us by email very quickly after the tour. It was an incredible experience with a wonderful company. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a whale watching experience!

Went out with the crew on 3 July and the experience was excellent . The crew Wilma, Tobin and Belv provided great insight of the habitat and habits of the whales and Orcas. The team is friendly and accommodating. A Shout out to the new trainee Kiefer who is super friendly and passionate about the trade and he will do well and be a great naturalist. We saw a family of Orcas , seals and Humpback whale - happy day ! Highly recommended !

Please go out to sea with Prince of Whales! What a meaningful way to support their mission of marine life conservation. I went on a rainy July afternoon in Vancouver with a small crew. We saw a glorious Orca family (shoutout to Tasu and her pups/grown kids!!), seals, and sea lions. I had never seen whales in their natural habitat. Growing up in Texas, I was devastated to have seen Shamu in captivity for entertainment. The Prince of Whales crew of naturalists showed such reverence for marine life, respecting their boundaries and sharing their majesty with us. Shoutout to Wilma for sharing her overflowing expertise and passion for marine life on deck during the Orca surfacings, shoutout to Victor for his hospitality (giving me bags and ginger candy when I felt seasick), and shoutout to Tobin for infusing lightness into the trip. Thank you to the whole crew!! Be sure to bring many layers (it gets very cold and windy), bring anything you need for seasickness, and enjoy the hot cocoa on board!
