Chu was such an incredible guide, from picking me up in the morning to starting the trail, providing trekking gear and being so patient when i needed breaks all the way up. He made me a delicious lunch and provided water and snacks the entire time, his knowledge of the Sapa region including his village and the plants on the mountain was amazing. The hike was challenging but Chu made me feel safe and comfortable the whole time i really recommend. :)

I can highly recommend the 1-day Fansipan tour with Chu! From start to finish, Chu was an exceptional guide - kind, attentive, and great at setting a steady pace while regularly checking in to make sure I was doing okay. He truly went above and beyond: picking me up and dropping me back to my hostel, providing water and snacks during rest stops, and cooking a delicious Chicken Pho for lunch - the perfect warm-up mid-hike! A hot cup of coffee was a lovely touch too. Although the weather was foggy, the trek was a fantastic physical challenge and Chu's company made it all the more enjoyable. He clearly takes enormous pride in looking after his guests, which was perfectly summed up by the heartwarming moment at the summit - a celebratory medal and certificate to mark the achievement! If you're thinking about tackling Fansipan, you won't regret booking with Chu!

Chu was amazing! He was clear with communication before the tour, set the perfect pace, provided endless snacks, cooked a delicious lunch and encouraged me to the top! He was lovely to chat to, kindly sharing his knowledge of the area and his life story and took some amazing photos for me, that prove how challenging the climb was! I can’t recommend Chu enough as your guide to climbing fansipan, he made it so achievable and enjoyable!!

The hike was lovely. Even with the downpour of rain we made it to the top. CHU was professional and organized and I really enjoyed hearing about his life and family and the area.

This hike was incredible! It was tough but so worth it! Chu, our guide, was great. He checked in on how we were doing regularly, pointed out easier steps for us to follow, and did an excellent job taking photos and prepared us lunch! Chu supplied us with a hiking pole each, gloves, snacks, and water. We appreciated him very much! Expect lots of steps, or stepping up on rocks, some scrambling, using ladders to climb up areas, and amazing views. It took us about 5.5 hours to complete with a few short breaks, plus about 40 minutes or so for lunch.

We had a phenomenal time with Chu as our guide. He was very knowledgeable, kind, and patient. He prepared us a delicious lunch and always checked in on us throughout the hike. The views were incredible and the trail was very fun with some light scrambling at times. There were lots of stairs and hikers need to be in relatively good shape. We did decide to take the cable car down as we took 5.5 hours to summit not including lunch. The hard work was well worth it and I would highly recommend hiking with Chu!

The guide was great, and the trek was really beautiful! The guide spoke great English and was willing to share his own life experiences living in his village. The value for the money was great, as we got to go with a small group of people. The guide brought mango and dragon fruit for us to have for lunch, as well as Pho that was made on a nearby campsite to the peak. He provided lots of water and snacks! I’d really recommend for the person who wants to hike in Sapa without feeling like they’re on a tour!

We had a fantastic day with Chu. He was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and patient with our beginner-level abilities. He guided us safely up the mountain while sharing lot of interesting facts about Sa Pa and Fansipan along the way. Throughout the trek, we felt very well looked after and supported. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Sapa.
