The sprawling coastline from Del Mar to Carlsbad is perfect for an electric bike rental. You can see every town in between and still have battery to spare! The coastal Highway 101 is just about as bike friendly as it gets, with designated bike lanes, or shared lanes where bikes may take the entire lane.

What To Expect
Explore the beautiful coastal communities from Del Mar to Carlsbad. Find the Meditation Gardens in Encinitas, stop for a slice at Leucadia Pizzeria, or grab some coffee from Lofty Coffee in the Cedros Avenue Design District of Solana Beach. Your electric bike rental will open up the opportunities to go further and see more than you would have though possible in a day. With the price you pay, you are able to pick up your bikes any time after 10 AM, and must return before 5 PM. We provide you with the bike, helmet, lock, and the local knowledge to help you navigate our beautiful coastline. Please note that beach riding is illegal and will incur a $300 cleaning fee for each bike to cover the labor and costs of completely going through the bike to ensure it will continue to work.

5.00We had such a great experience with Cal Coast Adventures! We rented two e-bikes and from the moment we arrived, Rachel and Brax went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing day. They were incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful, taking the time to teach us how to use the bikes and making sure we felt comfortable before heading out. They also gave us fantastic recommendations on places to ride and things to see, which made our experience even better. Their customer service was truly exceptional and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers having a great time. 5.00Cal coast adventures in solana beach was excellent to work with. I rented an ebike for my week in San Diego at a very reasonable cost. Brennan helped me choose the right bike for me. 5.00This is our returning bike shop when we come visit La Jolla. They are always so accommodating and have our bikes ready for us without any hassle. We take the 16 mile (each way) route down to Oceanside and back, that view from start to finish is just incredible! Highly recommend Cal Coast Adventures, the team there is so wonderful and kind!
