This was a great way to see the Tsukiji fish market. The place is extremely crowded and there are hundreds of different stalls. Without a guide it would be overwhelming to know what was going on. This tour helped our family to learn about the history of the market and area, try foods we would not have sampled had we not been on a tour, and learn about the some key foods in Japanese cuisine. Our kids (14 and 10) had fun making sushi rolls. We liked learning about ingredients and then seeing them sold at the stalls in the market. Ken, our guide, made accommodations for our kids tastes when getting samples (instead of the red bean dessert he got our kids strawberry tanghulu, got beef options for our 10 year old who didn’t like sushi, etc.). Walking around this market felt like a mix of tourists and locals. We really enjoyed this tour and would recommend it to others.

Our tour guide was so nice! All of the food we tried was delicious and we even had a sake tasting. It was a nice combination on allowing us to choose items and providing recommendations.

the tour brought as around and through Tsukiji Market. it included a sushi meal, an interaction with a sushi chef and the restaurant owner -- very informative and entertaining. we visited a shinto shrine and buddhist temple as well. our guide, Mark, was very friendly, spoke English fluently, and well versed in the goings-on of the place. he took us to a few of his favorite stalls to highlight snacks and drinks (don't take a heavy meal prior to the tour!). too bad we couldn't eat everything offered! we got a short exposition by the chef on how tuna was prepared, from purchase to plate. we even got some tips on knives and knife handling (suitably translated by Mark) Would highly recommend the tour, specially for first-timers like ourselves as the market is a bit overwhelming in scale.

It's a tourist spot, but its difficult to know who booths are good and which are not. Yuki took us to a lot of places and gave us sufficient flexibility. It was a small group (4 people) and so that helped a lot.

We had a great time with Yuki at our Tsukiji Fish Market tour. During this time Yuki showed us places that were more hidden and filled with locals. He went out of his way to customize the tour to make sure we got to buy gifts we were hoping for and foods we wanted to try. Yuki was very friendly and introduced us to his friends and dog friends along the way! Overall we really enjoyed our tour and your guide!
