We are a retired but active couple and just returned from a wonderful three week tour of Rajasthan & beyond organised by Golden Triangle Tours India -recommended to us by friends. We were interested in the historical palaces, forts, tombs etc built during the mogul dynasty and by Hindu maharajas. Shailendra organised a comprehensive tour for us in line with all our requirements and taking on board a few adjustments we requested to the initial quote & along the way. Our driver Rizwan was waiting for us on arrival & proved to be invaluable from the start -on finding at our first hotel check-in that one of our passports hadn’t been stamped by immigration he took us back to the airport & managed to solve the problem which we would never have been able to do in our own. He was a brilliant driver in the most challenging of conditions -he was thoughtful helpful totally reliable always found a reasonable place to stop along the road with decent toilets , spoke perfect English & spent many hours on drives between locations having long well informed conversations with my husband & I about just about anything not only Indian related. He would drop us as near as humanly possible to wherever we were visiting & reappear promptly as we exited, arrived on time every morning with the car clean & restocked with new small water bottles for us to carry with us. Local guides throughout were all polite knowledgeable about their location & conscious of our limitations. Special mention of Suraj (Delhi) Sabir (Agra) Krishna (Jaipur) Anagha (Mumbai). We couldn’t fault any of the hotels some were exceptional & where 5 star hotels weren’t an option (in off the beaten track places) they arranged quirky but good quality hotels which we also appreciated. Conclusion-so pleased we chose Golden Triangle Tours & will approach them again to plan our next trip elsewhere in India & would highly recommend them to anyone.

The best experience ever. Golden Triangle Tours made this the best trip. Everything worked like clockwork, great hotels, great excursions with the guides and drivers, especially Surrender who helped make everything easier and made us feel totally comfortable everywhere we went. Gopal ensured that we had the most amazing time and that we saw the best parts of India so we got a true experience of Indian life. Even to the point that we had a cooking lesson with his wonderful family. The food was amazing. The price was also very competitive, and beat the other tour companies by miles without loosing any of the quality. Definitely wholeheartedly would recommend to anyone wanting to book a trip to India. Our daughters used this company 10 years ago and couldn’t praise them enough which is why we then used them. The fact Golden Tours is still going 10 years later speaks volumes.

From day 1 till the end of the journey it was very well arranged. Mahaveer, our driver was a very pleasant and safe driver. Also the upgrade from the car was a welcome surprise. Clean, safe and spaceous. If we were wantibg to adjust something the guides and Mahaveer were very flexible. We saw beautiful places and the real India. Also the cooking class at Gopal’s house was a nice and welcome experience. Big reccomendation!

This tour was fantastic! We travelled to india for our friends wedding, and afterwards we began travelling on our own in the country. Very soon we realised that we were out of our depth and needed help. Gopal's Golden Triangle tour was an excellent solution. Our driver Mahendra took us safely and promptly between destinations, we never had to wait at all, he made us feel very safe, and he was great fun to chat to. The sights are amazing, and we had excellent tour guides. The itinerary was packed and seemed incredibly efficient, and there was plenty of water. Unfortunately during our trip great storms meant that Ranthambore tiger sanctuary was closed, but Gopal was very helpful in working with us to replan the tour. And luckily we saw a gorgeous leopard at Jhalana to make up for it. Each day there was an option to visit a workshop and buy some goods, but the guides were happy to skip that when we asked. You'll need about 12000 rupees per person for the various entrance tickets, plus tips. At the end of the tour it was a great privilege to take the cooking class with Gopal's family, to see a bit of every day life in India. All in all a very memorable experience!

From the moment we were picked up at Delhi airport our adventure began. It was well organized and we were well looked after. We saw so many sights and had very knowledgeable guides to explain history and sights. The entire time we felt safe and alway had someone near by to help. Our tour also included cooking class which was amazing to see all the spices added and the real way of cooking traditional Indian food. I would and have recommended this trip to anyone wanting to visit. Definitely worth it.

I had been planning a trip to India since last year, and now the time finally arrived! My friends and I chose a 6-day Golden Triangle tour with traditional cooking classes because of my love for cooking. The arrangements were excellent, and after booking, Mr. Gopal stayed in constant touch, ensuring everything was perfectly taken care of. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use their services again in the future.

India’s ‘Golden Triangle’ - fly into Delhi, airport pickup, sight-seeing, driven to Agra (including Taj Mahal), on to Jaipur (2 nights), back to Delhi & airport, using Getyourguide: We have travelled abroad often & enjoy packing in quite a few historic sites on our way. This trip we thought we would try Getyourguide to save ourselves a lot of the research needed into where to go, what to see, how to get from A to B & what accommodation to stay in. We were delighted. The itinerary of fabulous historical sites and places of interest fitted our wishes perfectly, while the accommodation (which we had requested be upgraded from 3 star hotels to 5 star at little extra cost) gave us the space & luxury needed to chill and relax between bouts of travelling and sight-seeing. Our point of contact was Sonu Duggal who kept us informed from start to finish, while our guide and driver, Mantun Sahani was charming, fun, very knowledgable, made himself available at any time we might need him, and was clearly a fantastic driver to negotiate all the different and sometimes crazy driving he had to cope with on our travels, all with very good humour. We had a large (8 seater?) car for just the two of us for the whole 6 days, which was much appreciated as I am 6’8” and needed lots of space! Local guides were also provided to give us more specialised information on the various places we visited such as the Red Fort & of course the Taj Mahal. Recommend guests consider tips for each - they deserve it! All of this history & traveling was set in the context of a beautiful country with its stunning scenery & sights, beautiful friendly people and truly amazing food. We were warned to be aware of personal security and alert for pick pockets (which travellers should be conscious of in any country these days) but we encountered no problems. We can both hand on heart recommend this Northern area of India as a place to holiday, and as seasoned travellers give a massive thumbs up to Sonu and especially to Mantun for making ours a trip to remember.
