Unfortunately, this tour was a major disappointment compared to our previous experience. About eight years ago, we took the same guided tour and it was truly memorable. We recently returned with our entire Girl Scout troop—19 girls in total—and encouraged them to spend $25 each based on how wonderful our first visit had been. During our previous tour, we completed the full loop, stopped at several scenic locations, enjoyed a beautiful flute performance in the shade, and received meaningful information about the history, culture, and landmarks throughout Monument Valley. It was an engaging and educational experience. This time, however, the experience was very different. We loaded into the vehicle, made three stops that appeared primarily focused on purchasing souvenirs, and then returned. There was no interpretation, storytelling, or educational content. The tour felt rushed and lacked the elements that had made our first visit so special. Our girls work incredibly hard to earn the money they spend on activities and trips, so it was disappointing to feel that this experience did not provide the value we expected. If you’re considering a tour, I would strongly recommend asking detailed questions beforehand about the itinerary, stops, and what is included so you know exactly what experience you’re paying for.

I don’t know what tour everyone else was on but it wasn’t ours. The pros. The scenery was amazing. Our guide was a nice lady and a good driver. The cons. Transportation was provided but we were pretty much on our own for the tour. There was almost zero narration. We were told the PA system was broken. Ok we understand but there were 5 stops and we were basically told to go take pictures. The guide didn’t even get out of the car let alone take a family picture of us. Zero stories, narration etc. 5 picture spots were pointed out and we were on our own. Worst tour I have ever been on. We could have driven ourselves and saved a lot of money. My first tour booking on trip advisor. I won’t make that mistake again.

The tour guide was nice but the speaker system wasn’t working and we could not hear her commentary thru the tour on the jeep. At the photo stops , the guide did not get out and offer commentary that would’ve been helpful since we could not hear while riding. We told her multiple times the speaker wasn’t working well. We could’ve done the same drive in our car for much cheaper

Aaron was an outstanding guide and had a lot of information about Navajo culture and the area's history. Riding in the open jeep was way more fun than bumping along in our car and trying to peek through the car windows. Plus, we were able to get to places our SUV wpuldn't have made it to. Thank you!

Aaron was a great guide and very well informed on the area. He was very patient in answering all my questions. I learnt a lot from the tour which is an infinitely better experience than just driving the 17-mile road without any context. He also pointed out a few good photo spots that wouldn't have occurred to me. He was warm and very down-to-earth. Would definitely recommend!

Disappointed with the drive. He explained practically nothing to us, except to mention the name of some monoliths. The landscape fortunately does not need comment, but we would have liked to know something more '. Would not recommend

We really liked the experience. The guide was so nice and you can visit places that are not allowed for the cars without being worried about the car.

There was an hour time difference across states, and despite checking the time in advance due to anxiety, I was unable to experience it over an hour. Please be careful if you participate.
