A two hour sailing in Vestmannaeyjar on a RIB speedboat. During this trip we will sail with you to the most popular islands in our archipelago. You will see the elephant rock, a lot of wildlife, nature, islands and sea caves. You will get to know the history of Vestmannaeyjar and see unique rock formations. In good sea conditions we will even sail to Súlnasker, which is without a doubt the most magnificent island or skerry in Westman islands. The island’s cliffs rises up 60-70 meters and stands on four posts. If we are lucky we will also see some whales and seals. This is a sightseeing tour with a twist as you get an adrenaline kick at the same time on our RIB Boats. Our guides will take good care of you and you will certainly have a blast.

A minimum of 6 people on each trip and we only sail if we have put together a group of six people or more. In case that does not happe we might need to cancel our trip or move you to a another trip

We provide you with warm protective clothing; float suit and life jacket but recommend you to take a hat and gloves with you.
Alcohol and RIB boat trips do not go hand in hand
What To Expect

Our office is at Tangagata 7 in Vestmanneyjar - you need to be out our office 30 minutes prior to the trip
Vestmannaeyjar
We will sail to the small islands in Vestmannaeyjar, into several sea caves, check out the elephant rock, see puffins, kittiwakes, gannets and other sea birds. Then we will head out to the islands that are further away and even to the magnificent gannet island (Súlnasker). We might even spot some whales and seals during this trip.

A 2 hour RIB Boat (Zodiac) tour in Vestmannaeyjar. We sail to the islands all around our only inhabitad island and even to Súlnasker which is a fantastic rock island. Wildlife, nature, sea caves etc.

1.00I took two hour tour with the company. The only reason this tour should be taken: if you have absolutely nothing to do on the Westman Island and you have extra $250. However, I think people come here mostly for birds or scenery. If you have other reasons like you like to ride on a boat and you have nothing else to do then of course you can take it. There are no other reasons to take this tour. It was wasting of time, money and energy. Please think twice before you book it. We were riding around the island and all small islands. A lot of time was wasted just going in the open sea and seeing nothing. Then you would see a small island with nothing interesting on it at all. Customer service was very nice, but the tour was absolutely meaningless. We were riding around the islands not seeing much at all because there is nothing to see really. After all you are in Iceland where you can see so much everywhere including Westman Island if you just drive around or you walk around. Please, save your time and money.
Do not miss this trip- ask for Joanna!

5.00This was an amazing experience. So much fun. And informative. Joanna, our tour guide was absolutely terrific. My wife and I agreed this was one of the best boat excursions we've ever had. We stayed over on Westman Island to enjoy the sights. But this boat excursion was the most fun we had. Also great was that the boat had specialized 'shock absorbing' seats that really reduced any bouncing and gave us a smoothe ride. The water proof jump suits we all used were comfortable and very protective against the elements. They took great care of my family.

5.00This tour was absolutely incredible! Got to see puffins flying all around us, beautiful islands, caves and elephant rock. Our tour guide, Kris, was entertaining, funny, and made the experience great. Would 10/10 recommend - one of our favorite things we did in Iceland!

5.00We booked this on the day of the tour. Checkin and suit up was easy - wear your own layers to your comfort level. They provide a coveralls that has light insulation. I recommend wearing a beanie. Christina was a delightful, knowledgeable, and kind guide. She shared excellent local knowledge and the music and overall vibe is so fun. It’s an exciting, but safe boating experience. 10/10 recommend!

On this tour, take to the water by powerful RIB and explore the archipelago with your guide at the helm. Hold tight as you bounce over the waves at speed, spotting eider and puffins among the sea caves and admiring unique, massive rock formations in the high cliffs. 5.00I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 hour round trip. All the staff in the office and on the trip were extremely friendly and helpful. Seeing the puffins was the highlight of my trip but the chance to venture inside the sea caves and view the islands from the sea was amazing too. It is a trip I will always remember and one of the highlights of my time in Iceland.
