Tarangire National Park

After a hearty breakfast, your adventure begins with a stop in Arusha Town for any last-minute purchases before setting off on your safari. From there, you'll head to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive, with a delicious picnic lunch enjoyed amidst the stunning park scenery. Known for its impressive elephant population and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire is a key destination in the annual migratory cycle, hosting up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras. As the day winds down, you'll enjoy a relaxing dinner and overnight stay at the charming Lodge surrounded by the beauty of nature.

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you'll descend to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable 5-hour game drive. Expect to encounter a stunning variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and countless bird species. The Crater is a birdwatcher's paradise, where you'll spot eagles, vultures, flamingos in the Crater Lake, storks, bats, giant vultures, sacred ibises, kori bustards, blacksmith plovers, long-necked herons, and cattle eagles, among others. Lunch will be enjoyed at the picturesque Hippo Pool picnic site, where you can relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings. Afterward, the game drive continues, and by evening, you'll begin your steep ascent back to the top of the crater. From there, it’s a 3-hour drive back to your accommodation in Arusha, bringing your adventurous day to a close.
