Eiffel Tower
Book directly with us on boatinparis (.) fr with code VIATOR for a 15% discount! The most famous monument in Paris, the star of the capital: the Eiffel Tower. It was presented at the world fair in 1889 to celebrate the centenary of the French Revolution. We owe this work of art to Gustave Eiffel. It is 1,000 feet high and weighs 10,000 tons. For a long time it was the highest monument in the world. You can visit the Eiffel Tower every day, all year round, until 11:00 at night, and till midnight during summer. It is repainted every seven years - about 60 tons of paint are required and the restoration lasts for three years. An interesting fact is that Parisians didn’t like it at all when it was built. They found it really ugly, and they were afraid the tower would collapse. Originally, the Eiffel Tower was built for 20 years but it was saved from demolition in 1906 when they put an antenna at the top.
Pont Alexandre III
Book directly with us on boatinparis (.) fr with code VIATOR for a 15% discount! From the Seine, the Pont Alexandre III dazzles with its ornate elegance, a masterpiece of Belle Époque design. Its graceful arch spans the river in a single sweep, adorned with gilded sculptures of nymphs, cherubs, and Art Nouveau lampposts. At each corner, towering columns crowned with golden-winged statues glisten in the sunlight, symbolizing France’s grandeur. The bridge’s soft blue-gray metal contrasts with its golden details, reflecting beautifully on the water below. As boats pass beneath, they glimpse one of Paris’ most opulent and romantic landmarks.

We decided to book a private boat ride because all the big boats looked so full and loud. We are so happy we did that!!! Theo was our captain, and he did such an amazing job! He had us right in front of the eiffel tower whwn it started sparkling! Awesome! We had water, Rose, and macaroons that were all very yummy. Such a great experience. Once in a lifetime, splurge on it!

Our boat captain, Lionel, made our trip the best! He was very friendly and informative, and throughout the trip made sure we were comfortable and had plenty of wine, juice, water and macaroons. He pointed out all the sites along the way and was chatty, but not too chatty! The boat was also nice, clean and had some cover for shade.

We have been living in the Île-de-France for over 20 years and finally we are visiting Paris from the Seine! A very beautiful experience with family on a lovely sunny day! Jacques, our guide/pilot, excelled in his punctuality and his support tailored to our knowledge of Paris. The boat is very comfortable, spacious, and not noisy! A very beautiful experience, even for Parisians like us!

A very pleasant crossing of Paris with our skipper and guide Jacques, who was really nice and attentive. There were 4 of us, and we all loved it. Thank you Jacques, my daughter was delighted with her birthday gift.

Our boat tour with Jacques was one of the highlights of our time in Paris. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the city come alive with great stories and insights as we cruised along the Seine. Seeing the Eiffel Tower and the different neighborhoods from the water was incredible, and Jacques did a great job explaining the history and significance of everything we passed. If you’re considering a Seine tour, ask for Jacques—you won’t be disappointed!

Our guide Theo was patient and waited for us as we were VERY LATE due to traffic. NOTE: allow waaay more time than you think to arrive at dock. Traffic was horrid and we missed about 30 min of cruise time
