We spent an afternoon with Giulia and Samuele who welcomed us at Molino Sant'Antimo with kindness and friendliness. First, we visited the winery, under the guidance of Samuele who told us the history of Brunello di Montalcino and how their company has evolved over time. Then, they seated us for the tasting where, with Giulia, we tasted three wines of their production accompanied by a selection of typical products. It was an exclusive experience and exceeded our expectations, which we absolutely recommend if you are in the Montalcino area.

We arrived and were greeted by Lucilla. She told us the olive garden area was very wet and although we were welcome to use it, we might be more comfortable on the patio overlooking the olive gardens . We took her advice and ate up there with a breath taking view. All I can say about lunch was that each bite was amazing. Lucilla is the best cook ever and made every item. She was able to tell us what was in it and how to make it. I asked her to come home with me to Chicago. Don't worry, she refused. After our amazing meal, we swam in the pool for about an hour until the weather began to change. It was a lovely day and the whole villa is actually apartments for vacation rentals, so check that out as well.

Excellent experience. The winter tour was very informative. Our guide, Chiara was great and pleasant to be with. She was very knowledgeable about the whole wine making process. The lunch and tasting was super. Excellent food and wonderful wines.
