Hello, everyone! Welcome to our Benagil Treasure Hiking Experience.
Pets are Welcome !!!! I make a few stops along the way to take some fantastic photos!
Let's walk over the cliffs of Praia da Marinha, included in the Michelin guide: 24 million years old where you can find the beautiful photo of the Titanic, the heart and the bridge - 1st Treasure.
After that we will visit the top of the Benagil Cave a 16 million years old cave. From the top you can see the interior of the cave bath by the sea. 2nd Treasure.
The 3rd Treasure includes a visit to Algarseco. There you can visit the Boneca Cave and its recesses carved out by seawater, located on the trail of the seven hanging valley.
For some timeout let's visit Praia da Senhora da Rocha and Nova Beach. The 4th Treasure. There you can visit a 16th century small chapel built on top of a cliff and a tunnel connecting the two beaches through the rock. If the weather and the sea permits you can swim, relax and/or walk along the cliffs.

If the weather is fine on the beach, please bring flip-flops, a swimsuit and a towel.
Snorkelling will only take place if sea conditions are favourable/safe for this activity.

What To Expect
8h20: We meet in front of Faro Train Station - Largo de Santo Amaro Faro. At 8h30 we departure on our van and head towards Benagil , aprox. 60kms. Please don't be late.
Praia da Marinha
1st Treasure: Praia da Marinha - Hiking (50 to 60 minute walk) to visit the Bridge, The Heart and Titanic rock formation

5.00We had such a lovely time exploring the benagil caves. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking and we enjoyed ourselves so much. Everyone involved in the trip was amazing and communicated well with us. Special shout out to our tour guide Sebastian who is an asset to Algarve sensation. He was so welcoming, polite and gave us all the history we needed to know. He went above and beyond for us and took beautiful pictures of the scenery and the group of us and sent them to us. Also want to mention the boat drivers Pino and Dhino who were so funny and informative. THANK YOU SO MUCH :)

5.00As an alternative to the boat tour, the hike was quite enjoyable and easy. Claire, our guide, ensured that we had an amazing time. She skillfully navigated through the crowd and ensured that we had the best views. Her extensive knowledge of the local vegetation provided us with valuable insights into the area’s ecology. If the seas are rough during your visit, I highly recommend taking this route to see the Benagil.

5.00Claire was a fantastic guide and highly recommend this tour. She did her best to ensure we saw sites, taught us some history of each area and kept us to a reasonable time line. She even helped take pictures when I couldn't get to myself. Claire even had umbrellas and snorkel equipment to use at the beach.
