Mornings on Gellért Hill are calm and magic.
Gellért Hill is my favourite place in Budapest and I believe it offers one of the best cityviews in Europe.
This location is higher than both Buda Castle and the Fisherman’s Bastion, offering some of the most impressive panoramic views over the entire city from the newly accessible Citadella fortress. Freshly reopened: In addition, the top of the hill with the Citadella fortress was closed for renovation for several years and has only recently been reopened to the public.
At sunrise, the atmosphere is especially peaceful, with far fewer tourists compared to the busy sunset hours, allowing for a more relaxed and intimate experience.
It will be my pleasure to spend a beautiful sunrise with you in one of the most stunning locations in Budapest, and to capture your best moments and natural expressions in timeless photographs.

What To Expect
We will meet at the iconic Gellért Hill, one of the most beautiful panoramic locations in Budapest, crowned by the historic and freshly renovated Citadella Fortress. This spot offers breathtaking views over both sides of the city and the Danube River. After meeting either at the parking area or another agreed location, we will begin our photoshoot at the top of Gellért Hill, around the Citadella, capturing stunning skyline views and stunning city backdrop. We will then continue the session as we walk down the hill along scenic paths, stopping at charming viewpoints and hidden balconies overlooking the river. These locations are charming with soft natural light in the morning and unforgettable views of the Danube and Budapest’s architecture. The experience is relaxed and guided, designed to capture both iconic wide shots and more personal, cinematic moments as we explore one of the city’s most photogenic routes.

5.00I had an amazing experience with this photoshoot on Gellért Hill. The location is absolutely worth visiting and is perfect for a morning photoshoot. The views are simply the best! Most importantly, Martina is a truly sweet soul - friendly, and incredibly kind. She makes you enjoy every second of the photoshoot and creates a relaxedatmosphere. I’m really happy with the photos. I wouldn’t consider myself very photogenic, and I usually don’t like how I look in most photos. However, Martina managed to capture my best angles, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the outcome. Highly recommended!

5.00An amazing photoshoot experience at Budapest’s newly reopened Citadel! The location offers breathtaking views and an incredible backdrop for photos. We actually liked it much more than the Fisherman’s Bastion, which is often overcrowded with tourists. From here, you can see much more of the city, making it a perfect choice for a photoshoot. The background definitely looks great on us! Martina was not only professional but also exceptionally kind and friendly. My wife and I had a wonderful time, and she made us feel comfortable throughout the entire session. It was obvious that she knows the location inside out. Every scene was captured from multiple angles and with different compositions, showing experience and creativity. The photos actually turned out even better than we expected! They are vibrant, colorful, and full of life. It’s also clear that a lot of care and effort goes into editing, because the final results are also fantastic. What impressed me also was the speed: we received the fully edited photos the very same day and could post them on Instagram immediately. I’ve done several photoshoots before, but this was by far the best experience. Highly recommended!

5.00The photoshoot on Gellért Hill was magical. I had to wake up very early, but it was definitely worth it! The hill probably offers the best views of Budapest and is one of the few places in the city where you can really feel surrounded by nature - on a green hill right above the Danube. The views from the top are amazing, but I especially enjoyed the walk downhill, with its small paths, stairs, and cute little balconies overlooking the beautiful green bridge. I really liked the photos. I don't usually feel very comfortable posing, but the photographer made me feel relaxed and comfortable the whole time. Thank you! 😊
