Red Leaf Tours has a great local driver/guide named Vishnu. Very knowledgeable about the history of the Cabot Trail and the current conditions of the area. He also made sure we arrived back to the ship an hour before departure. Nice size group of 5 people in a mini-van. More flexible than a bus. Only negative was finding the pick-up spot at the pier. Communication between Trip Advisor and us and Trip Advisor and Red Leaf was frustrating. We stressed wondering if we would make a tour..

This tour is a scenic drive. The tour guide provided information about the scenery. There was a strop at a chocolate shop and a deli where there were restrooms and snacks for purchase. The lodge is closed and this spot is a lookout from a highpoint. The tour then returns to the starting point. We were on this tour before the fall colors had started, but it is a beautiful scenic drive. The vehicle was a six person minivan, and the tour guide was Vamoush.

Great views, and stops for pictures. Had 4 adults in mini van which was comfortable and fairly decent for viewing while driving. Operator originally wanted to add two more adults (obese)to trip at last minute . After voicing concerns as for safety and comfort; owner decided to not take the additional folks.

Great drive around the island with lots of stops. Lots of commentary of the history and changes to the island and the people. Well worth the day. Of course my favorite stop was the Cabotto Chocolate factory and store.

Re Leaf Tours cancelled my excursion. Never went. Have been trying to contact them for my $250 refund which they charged the day before. I am getting nowhere--VM's not returned. texts not answered, hangups, etc. Apparently a scam outfit!!

Our driver was good but we expected to learn a little about the areas we visited and basically we just hired a driver. He was very quiet and there was t any information on the areas we visited given unless we asked a question. The areas are definitely worth seeing.
