Goðafoss Waterfall & Turf House tour is the perfect introductory tour to North Iceland. We start the tour in Akureyri in Eyjafjord and drive the coastline to GrenjaðarstaðurTurf Houses and Museum. There we get insight in the heritage and history of the area, experiencing how people used live. Next we head towards Goðafoss Waterfall. After experiencing the power of Skjálfandafljót glacier river and capturing the picturesque waterfall we head back to Akureyri. You have the option to join the Forest Lagoon.

Akureyri
We leave Akureyri and drive for about 45 minutes until we reach the next stop. The drive is guided and offers great views.

5.00This company is excellent. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly and very accessible. They really took care of us and made us feel special. I cannot recommend Saga Travel highly enough. Whatever you do with them will be expertly done. For example, instead of going to Godafoss first, when it would be most crowded, we went to the Turf House first (super interesting- we all found it fascinating) and then to Godafoss. They thought every detail out. Book with them!
