Your ticket for the Rijksmuseum is a ticket with a timeslot you chose while making a reservation. You can ONLY enter the museum at this specific time. Changing your slottime is NOT possible. The address of the Rijksmuseum is Museumstraat 1, 1071 XX Amsterdam.
The ticket for your City Canal Cruise is an so called "OPEN TICKET". This means that no timeslot has been allocated and you can board any next available boat at one of the 2 docks:
The first dock is located at Stadhouderskade 501 opposite the Hard Rock Cafe. Take tram 1, 2, 5,11 and 12 stop at Leidseplein. from there the dock is a 2 minute walk.
The second dock is located at Stadhouderskade 550, opposite Heineken Experience. Take tram 2, 5,and 12 stop at Rijksmuseum. from there the dock is a 5 minute walk or take metro No. 52 and stop at Vijzelgracht. From there the dock is only a 2 minute walk.
Last City Canal Cruise from Hard Rock Cafe departs at 18:00.
Last City Canal Cruise from Heineken Experience departs at 17:15.
Please note that that Blue Boat Company is closed on the following dates: • 27th April: Kingsday • 5th August: Pride & Queer Canal Parade • 25th December: Christmas • 31st December; no cruises after 4:00PM • 1st January; until noon.

1.00A precise address with precise directions is needed. We walked for blocks in the rain and never found the meeting place. I caught a cold which impacted the rest of our cruise. We wasted our money as we had to buy new tickets for the museum.

3.00We were unable to locate the tour guide at the Rijksmuseum, so we had a mini-tour ourselves. We had no idea when or where to go to take the canal tour. We called the company and found tours leave frequently. So we took one. The tour worked out fine. The snack lunch was junky. Overall, I’m not sure we would engage Blé BoT again. Jane Cash

2.00The museum was unreal and a must do. But this package? Nope. Just get tickets thru the museum site. I thought this would be a guided experience, but everything about it was confusing. I saw the boat and immediately wanted to skip. I ended up even skipping the canal tour and booked with another boat (one that was open air). Save your time, book direct thru the museum and find another boat tour when you’re in the city and can see what you’re signing up for.
