5.00An incredibly fun and delicious way to explore the area! It was a beautiful day, and the excellent walking tour paired perfectly with all the culinary tastings. As a lifelong Alamedan, I was amazed that our tour guide, Julienne, surprised me with history and facts about my own hometown that I never even knew. She is incredibly knowledgeable, we hit all the best spots, and every single food sample was delicious. It was well worth it, and I will definitely recommend this tour to locals and visitors alike!

It was both extremely informative as well as totally delicious 😋 Our tour guide, Julienne, was born and raised in this wonderful East Bay city and her pride really shows when she talks about the history and the many great and varied restaurants. I would recommend this tour to tourists and Alamedans alike!

5.00A grey, rainy Alameda afternoon turned out to be one of my favorite food experiences in the East Bay, thanks almost entirely to our guide — warm, genuinely sunny in disposition, and the kind of person who makes a group of strangers feel like old friends within the first block. The tour hits a delicious mix of spots, and we ate across continents - Asia, Europe, and South America. The food was varied and memorable. Beyond the eating, the walk-by stops added real texture. We took in grand art deco architecture, and saw spectacular art, that were a lovely surprise. Our guide had stories for every stop. Go hungry, and be prepared to linger — it runs around three hours, most of it spent eating, with maybe half a mile to a mile of gentle walking in between.
