There was nobody at the address provided , nor did the host answer his phone having tried 4-5 times.

We have delayed writing this review because we were promised that recipes would be forwarded by the chef but they have never been sent. The chorizo appetizer cooked on a ceramic grill was fun and unique. the main course of chicken and rice was uninspiring and the dessert of a crème brulee type custard was tasty even though it failed to set up. We had fun with the chef (Andre Lopez) who is quite young and worked hard to keep us all busy, but we learned little of "authentic" Portuguese cooking except for the chorizo grill (which we later bought at a department store to bring home). The alley on which the "class" was held was dark and nondescript, and since we arrived a few minutes early had to ask the next door store if we were in the right place before the chef showed up. While we enjoyed ourselves we suggest you lower your expectations to an OK but not great experience.

We had a fun time and great experience in this cooking class! We also learned a lot about Portuguese cuisine. Highly recommended.
