Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

Real stories that must be told - that’s what you'll experience at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Start your journey through country music history with Sing Me Back Home: The Journey Begins, Folk Roots to the 1960s. This exciting multi-layered experience tells the story of country music’s humble folk roots, and tracks its evolution into the 1960s. In 2010, the museum opened an all-new exhibit experience, expanding on Sing Me Back Home with Dreaming My Dreams: The Journey Continues, 1960s to the Present. This expansion included the addition of hundreds of new artifacts and multimedia elements that focus on country music’s recent history. The history comes to life with every era of country music represented.

Lots a great places to eat just across the drive in the Opry Mills Mall. If you are interested in purchasing alcohol, be prepared to spend quite a bit. One mixed drink was $30. Overall, the experience was memorable and we are glad we did it.

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum showed the history of country music from the early days until the present. Very well done - even for the non-fan. Good mix of iconic figures and the modern performers.

This is definitely worth the time to visit this place. I have been a fan of country music since I was a kid, and it was amazing to see the history not just the new and popular artists.

I enjoyed seeing the history of country music. So many memories of the music I grew up listening to with my parents.

  • Interesting but not as expected

It wasn’t what I expected and way too much to read throughout. Wish that there were an introductory video to kick things off - very overwhelming. I felt like some of the current people were missing from the walls too.
