Connor was great. Knowledgeable and took us to several great spots for food and drinks. Even though the portions were small in each place by the end of the tour we were very satisfied!

We had a family tour that included other visitors from Ireland and the US. The tour was perfectly planned with drinks to start, on to food and finishing with desert on this seven stop walking tour of Gastown. Kate was our guide and did a great job of answering all the questions. Highly recommend if you are in Vancouver!

The link on the App took us to a car park for the starting point. It took 20 minutes to find the actual place which is hidden in a train station! No mention of this on the App page. The tour guide Gabriel could not have been less interested if he tried. I appreciate it wasn’t his fault but a little empathy would have expected. His tour was well done, timings were a little off but he had us at the steam clock perfectly on time. The food was ok, the drinks on the small side. At one stop we were supposed to have Cassoulet but were given the smallest piece of bread possible with a dry lump of goats cheese on a lettuce leaf covered in really strong vinegar. It was horrible.

From the moment we met, I could sense something there was something special about our guide Connor. I was impressed by his ability to project his voice and explain things so interestingly. I asked him how he was such a great communicator. I knew it. He used to teach and he has been on stage. What a great start to a tour. The route we took, the food we sampled and the local history that was shared were all wonderful. We did not go hungry and we learned so much. Connor made everything so very interesting as he carefully metered out a bunch of interesting facts. The variety of food and drink we enjoyed was excellent and made for a very interesting tour. It was one of those tours you wanted to go on forever.

Our food and historic walking tour through Gastown with Sean was one of the highlights of our visit to Vancouver. Sean was personable, knowledgeable, and engaging, bringing Gastown’s rich history, folklore, and unique character to life in a fun and interactive way. We enjoyed bits of conversations had within our group, consisting of a mix of people from the US and Australia. The carefully curated food stops featured a wonderful mix of local favorites and hidden gems. The tastings were generous, delicious, and even included a delightful selection of local wines or optional mocktails for non-drinkers. Sean’s energy and rapport made this tour the perfect blend of history, culture, and outstanding food. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Vancouver, especially for first-timers like us!
