Ian has that wonderful combination: brilliantly knowledgeable and passionate about his subject but also hugely fun and engaging. His tour included many fascinating anecdotes and whether your interests lie in History or Music, or you would just like to be guided around some of the most beautiful and fascinating neighbourhoods of London, Ian’s tour will certainly not disappoint!

Ian was fantastic and brought the classical world of central London to life. He made a cold, drizzly January morning a pleasure to walk in as he discussed Mozart, Chopin, Handel and more. Really enjoyed myself! I learned a lot about my favorite composers. Thank you Ian for a very memorable morning!

Being a singer, the names of the composers were all familiar to me - Handel, Mozart, Haydn, but I had no idea what their experiences were like when they were here in London. Mozart's experience was incredible! Ian shared anecdotes from their wildly varied experiences at the actual places where they have lived in London. The tour was brought to life with well-researched facts and insightful anecdotes. A warm and personable guide, Ian was a fount of knowledge and presented the tour most enjoyably.
