Begin with a short train ride to Lamphun, once the capital of the ancient Mon Kingdom, and start your ride at the historic Wat Phra That Hariphunchai. Pedal through quiet villages and lush rice fields, pausing at a local market to enjoy a simple Thai lunch. Along the way, visit the renowned wood-carving village of Ban Tawai, meet a local beekeeper near Doi Suthep, and explore the tranquil forest temple of Wat Umong before cycling back to Chiang Mai.

What To Expect
Meet at Discova Chiang Mai office at 8.15AM. The bike tour will depart at 8:30 am sharp as we have a train to catch. After a quick bike fitting and briefing, we pedal to the railway station to catch the train to Lamphun.

Bikes on the Train : The 30-minute train ride will take you south from Chiang Mai to Lamphun.
