5.00Jeffrey was a wonderful guide and very personable. He had a lot of fun anecdotes, and knew how to connect on a personal level. It is a fun tour, but also be prepared for the tour to touch on uncomfortable truths in Black history as it relates to Richmond. It is important to hear, especially today.

5.00We were looking for a night historical tour and found a couple. One had quite a few reviews but they were mixed, some really liked it and others not so much. We found this tour. It didn't have many reviews but they were all positive so we decided to take this one and we're glad we did. Jeffrey did an excellent job. He has done his research and is very knowledgeable about the history of Richmond. He is an experienced tour guide and did his best to make everyone feel comfortable. This is not a ghost tour but a great historical tour.

5.00The tour guide Jefferey was great, he was knowledgeable and made the experience comfortable and fun, engaging questions and conversation about the various topics along the tour. He clearly enjoyed his job and made it a fun, memorable experience. He delved into some local legend, history and talked about some key Richmond figures and insights. It was a great over all timeline. I highly recommend this tour!

5.00Jeffrey Holmes gives a great tour of Richmond's Shockloe district. He is a history nut and reads, researches, interviews, does everything he can to bring the haunted history of the place to life. Our tour had 8 people, his competing tour, US Ghost Adventures, had about 30 people for their McDonald's version of a ghost tour. We saw many places and learned a lot. This was a great tour. Unfortunately for Richmond, Jeffrey takes his business to New Orleans for the winter.
