Spectacular views, an idyllic, crystal clear mountain lake, and German history from the Middle Ages to the infamous Nazi rule during the 3rd Reich: all this and much more awaits you on this private full-day PANORAMA-Tour with your personal and professional guide. Starting with a drive that offers many scenic highlights, you will then be enchanted by the historic town of Berchtesgaden - finally the cruise across Lake Königssee to the renowned peninsula of St. Bartholomä will simply take your breath away!
Enjoy the view from the spectacular Eagle's Nest view point (Shuttle busses from May - Oct), then gain a deeper understanding of the tragic history of the Obersalzberg area.
Almost 1,000 m/ 3,200 ft above sea level, this plateau was confiscated by Hitler and his entourage as the 2nd seat of government. Some buildings from this period as well as the extensive bunker network are still partially preserved and open to the public – explore these and much more hidden vestiges from the '3rd Reich' together with your guide, supported by historical photographs.
On a nearby Panorama Road we reach in our comfortable and new VW-Minivan the highest point of our excursion, which is at the same time a 'Sound-of-Music' Film location. With these unforgettable impressions we return back to Munich.

We are also happy to make suggestions for lunch, on this tour we recommend the restaurant on the Kehlsteinhaus. Now, however, you can look forward to an eventful, informative but also relaxing excursion in our luxurious Mercedes - and VW vans. At the side of your friendly and professional tour guide you are in the best hands from the very beginning! ...At the old pilgrimage church of St. Maria Ramersdorf from the 14th century we leave Munich and drive on the A8 in a south-easterly direction...
Irschenberg
Soon we reach the 'Mount Irschenberg', the most beautiful view point that you can have from a German motorway. This Motorway route was built in the mid-1930s as a "panoramic motorway". These today unusual routings were part of the National Socialist propaganda: the beauty of the landscape was abused by deliberately staging "German Homeland".

What a wonderful full day private experience! Our driver and guide Karl was great and gave us insider tips for things to take more time on at each stop. This was such a great way to see the countryside and ease from Munich.

Our tour of the Eagle’s Nest and Lake Konigsee with Sightseeing Bavaria was the highlight of our trip to Munich! Our guide, Karl, was a font of knowledge and provided expert guidance throughout all of the sites. He was an absolute professional and so personable that the drive was as enjoyable as the site-seeing! Stefan, the owner and manager of the company, helped us create the perfect itinerary that blended history and culture. We highly recommend this tour, as the main attractions give a deep look into an important part of WW2 history (artifacts and photos at the Documentation Center and Eagle’s Nest are expertly annotated). For nature lovers, the beauty of Konigsee, Berchtesgaden, and the view from Obersalzburg were unparalleled. Thanks so much to the team for a wonderful experience!

We had an amazing day with our guide Karl, he was very knowledgeable and he had lots of tips to help us see everything we wanted, he helped us get all of our tickets, so the day was completely stress-free. As it was a private tour we even managed to see a couple of extra bits too, very grateful for all of his care and attention, would definitely recommend this tour, as it's a day none of my family will ever forget. Thanks Karl!

Stefan was a knowledgeable and professional guide who worked with us to build a custom itinerary that met all of our needs. Even though the Eagle's Nest ended up being closed, he remained flexible and helped make the experience a memorable one.

We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Thomas was our guide for the day and provided numerous insights to the places we visited and areas we traveled through. He was very knowledgeable and personable. We had to make a couple of changes to our agenda during this tour and Thomas handled them with ease. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. I look forward to visiting Munich again and taking another trip with Thomas and Sightseeing Bavaria Exclusive.

Was a fabulous experience on a day with wonderful weather. The lake cruise, the trip to the Eagles Nest, and then to Salzburg were all enhanced by our knowledgeable private guide. Thomas did an EXCELLENT job of interacting with our family, and helping personalize the experience as much as he possibly could for us. He went out of his way to help show a number of sights in Salzburg that our family wanted to see. He was patient and kind and the whole experience was great. Blessed by great weather too.
