3.00Food was very good. From an amazing chicken and waffle to an Afghanistan dumpling. Guide wasn’t very engaging. No history of Richmond or the Carytown area. The guide did highlight the 100 yr old NY Deli and the Byrd Theatre. But long gaps in walking to the next stop without any info.

5.00Lindsey was our guide and was great. She gave lots of interesting information about the area, buildings, owners during the tour. We did this tour and then the Church Hill food tour the following day (also highly recommended). Myself, husband, and 2 boys in college attended. The stops for food tasting were amazing. Able to accommodate one in my family who is a vegetarian. Make sure you plan to spend time before/after your tour to go in all the shops in the area. Would definitely do again!

5.00Carytown food tour was a great time! We had a wonderful time with our guide, Erin, exploring Carytown and sampling a range of tastes and sips (savory and sweet) of some of the best Carytown has to offer. This was our third Discover Richmond food tour and they never disappoint!

5.00So much great food and interesting facts! Lindsay gave a great tour with culinary highlights on the cuisine, the restaurants/businesses and Carytown! Really enjoyed the Point Five exposure too!
Food and guide was great. The profanity on the walls at Home Sweet Home, not so great. Very offensive.

5.00My wife Kathy & I thoroughly enjoyed our Carytown Food Tour Saturday afternoon, August 2, with "Discover Richmond Food Tours" and Lindsey as our host. Lindsey instantly transformed our eight into a chatting family and off we went together. Although we thought we were already familiar with Carytown, Lindsey's extensive knowledge of the community history and great choices in new and fun eateries made the tour a delight from start to finish. And we intend to return soon with family and friends to enjoy our new Carytown favorites, most of which we likely might not have noticed but for this tour. Thank you Lindsey and Discover Richmond!
