RIOMAGGIORE: Riomaggiore will welcome you with brightly colored homes stacked on striking cliffs. Enjoy about an hour to explore the beachy alleyways and admire the lovely views. Time flies in this village and the time to leave again comes in a heartbeat. Your escort will lead you heading to the nearby town of Manarola.

She provided clear instructions on where to meet, provided the highlights in each town and let us explore. Plus, she ensured we all made it on time to catch the train to the next town. 5.00There is a lot of walking and it’s probably hot!!! Trains are air conditioned. Lots of other groups queuing at stations. Only a lengthy stop at one town. The others are 30-45 mins only time to walk Main Street and but an ice or a drink. Lunch stop longer. We missed a boat trip as sea was rough. But that would be better - to see the coastline from the sea. You need Euros cash for some restaurants - check before you order!!!
