What To Expect
Banyuwangi
Around 11:00 PM – 12:30 AM, our team will pick you up from your accommodation in Banyuwangi. Before heading to the hiking point, all participants will undergo a brief health check as required by local government regulations. Once completed, the journey continues to Paltuding Post, the starting point of the hike.
Paltuding is the starting point of the Ijen hike, located at the base of the mountain within the Ijen Plateau. Here, travelers will meet their guide, receive safety gear like gas masks and headlamps, and prepare for the trek. The cool mountain air and quiet surroundings set the tone for the adventure ahead, as hikers begin their ascent toward the famous Ijen Crater and its mesmerizing Blue Fire.

5.00We exchanged messages on Whatsapp right after I applied, and they arranged it for me despite being a bit far away from home. We were grateful that the Medical check, which includes the masks and travel required for the tour, was also made in about 35k. The tour guides are extremely friendly and impressed by the beautiful starry sky as well as the volcano.
