What To Expect
From 9am to 1pm (or from 1pm to 5pm), enjoy a peaceful and immersive exploration of Robert’s Bay, a stunning lagoon dotted with islets, white-bottom shallows and calm, sheltered waters. An airtight box will be provided to safely carry your snacks and personal belongings, and your experience begins with a complimentary coffee or tea before departure. Upon arrival, your guide will welcome you, provide a safety briefing, and hand you a map of the area with key points of interest to help you navigate the bay. You will then set off independently by kayak, allowing you to enjoy the experience at your own pace and freely manage your time within the allocated duration. As you paddle through the lagoon, you will discover its most emblematic highlights: the historic Chancel Islet, with its ruins and endemic iguanas, the famous white-bottom passages, and the surrounding shallow turquoise waters. Near the islets, seagrass beds sometimes reveal starfish in their natural environment, adding a subtle and authentic touch to the journey. A stop on a beautiful beach offers the perfect opportunity to swim, relax, or simply take in the surroundings. Back at the base, your guide will welcome you again to share the highlights of your experience. A friendly snack including homemade cakes, fresh juices, and local liqueurs will be served. Guests also have access to showers, toilets, and changing rooms for added comfort. NOTICE THAT THIS ACTIVITY IS NOT ACCESSIBLE TO CRUISE PASSENGERS BECAUSE OF THE COST OF TRANSPORTATION TO ARRIVE TO THE KAYAK SPOT AND THE DIFFICULTY TO FIND A TAXI AT THE CRUISE PORT.

4.00The rental company is very professional. The manager, Luc, is very friendly and helpful. However, Chancel Island is invaded by motor boats at the iguana spot and the beach area looks more like a party (music at full speed and rum afloat) than a relaxation area.

5.00The ride is very nice. It’s pretty sporty though, if it’s windy. Well, we’re in our 50s and we’re doing well 😇 so, for young people it’s easy. But above all, Luc was very nice: his explanations are clear and his snack is top. The small peanut liqueur is a very appreciable treat after exercise. In short, we recommend.

5.00The location was a bit difficult to find but I made it… the owner was friendly and hospitable. He showed me the route and explained that the water wasn’t deep – I haven’t learned to swim. 5.00The gentleman was very easy to work with. He speaks only a little English, but it's English. The map he gives you is well marked, and it is easy to find the beach you are paddling to. The water is not difficult for beginners to traverse. This is a good kayak place. I recommend it

5.00My family (5 including myself) had a wonderful afternoon kayaking in the bay of Le Robert. Note that this is a fairly independent activity - the guide will provide a map, life jackets, and some instructions on how to navigate, but other than this, you are on your own to kayak the sea. It was a bit challenging physically (since we did not have experience kayaking in the sea and it took longer than expected to get from one landmark to the next), but enjoyable nonetheless.
