The very first food tour launch in Palermo. Join us in a three-hour strolling around the backstreets of the city center guided by a young Palermitan who will share with you stories and legends only renowned among locals.
We have an easy-going approach with travelers making them feel like friends, not like clients! We will take you to the same places where our guides go to eat and drink with friends. We will share with you the best tips to enjoy Palermo and Sicily like a local. We will share our personal stories to make you feel what being a Sicilian means.
You will taste traditional street foods at vendors who have been carefully selected for the quality of food and the authenticity of the location. There are no tourist traps on this tour! Travelers will step into hidden corners and try foods they wouldn't dare to do alone. The amount of food we offer on this tour replaces a full meal.

5.00Very happy that I booked the night market trip for our very first evening in Palermo. It was an absolute treat to be taken to cool little spots that we would have probably not gone to by ourselves. There were vegetarian options everywhere except at one. We stopped at 6 places for eats and drinks, plus the last one for gelato. There were other non-food stops too, for local history, allowing for good breaks between bites. Our guide Vinz (with a Z, who likes to be called Obi-Vinz Kenobi) is fun, energetic, dramatic, and wise beyond his years. He is a lovely storyteller, guiding us newbies through chants of “accura” and “amuni”, and ending the night with a surprise performance. He added so much flavor to our entire experience.

5.00Vinz made the tour so much fun, he was amazing with our daughter and made sure her allergies were accommodated and also gave her a bracelet to go along with all of her others. He shared a lot of knowledge and was incredibly passionate about the history and future of Palermo. Highly recommend!!!

4.00Guide Alessandra was outstanding at engaging all members of the group, giving interesting information about Palermo, the foods and food sellers. The group size was easy to manage and facilitated nice conversations among one another. She said at the outset that the street food we'd be having was fat, fried, and full of carbs, and it was. While you may be full at the end, you'll be missing protein and fiber. I'd appreciate a tour that balances the food groups more.

5.00Did this tour in 2024 and it was incredible. Wish I left a review at the time so I could remember the name of our fantastic guide but she was amazing! I enjoyed learning about Palermo’s history while eating our way through it all. My favourite parts were visiting the local dive bar and drinking their one-of-a-kind white wine they make in house, and visiting the street cart that makes Anthony Bourdain’s favourite Palermo sandwich. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough 10/10

5.00Nadia was an incredible guide. Knowledgeable, entertaining and showed us the amazing hidden culinary highlights of Palermo. What a great way to socialise in a group to see the city, be immersed in the culture and taste things we may not have tried otherwise. The Mangia e Beve and the Arancini were my personal favourites. Highly recommend this tour.
