Discover a secret place in Portugal, the Serra D´Arga Mountain in Viana do Castelo on a 5-hour self-guided donkey walk.
Enjoy the company of a docile donkey and explore the beautiful countryside in Portugal. During the walking tour you can visit watermills, walk through many forests, visit waterfalls and much more!
You will meet us and our donkey in Montaria village (meeting point) and we will share with you all the knowledge about how to handle the donkey during a circular self-guided tour. We will give you a hiking map with the route on it, hiking notes and share a mobile app that you can use on your mobile phone for free and offline to navigate duing the walk.
During the tour we will provide telephone support and help in case you need.
Important: only kids from 3 to 8 years old can ride our donkeys!

Serra De Arga
You will do a circular walk in the company of a docile donkey. You will explore the authentic Portugal away from the crowds. During the walk you can interact with our donkey, you can visit watermills, a mountain river, walk trhough forests and enjoy pure nature.

5.00I traveled at the end of April with my sister on the 7 day walk in Northern Portugal. Agostinho was very friendly and helpful. He made every detail very clear in his written instructions and GPS maps. We enjoyed stunning scenery, quaint Portuguese villages, Atlantic coastline and historic towns. Agostinho was attentive to any extra text messages, and all the accommodation was most satisfactory. I would highly recommend this walking tour to others. We used walking poles for most of the 7 days, and had water packs in our backpack. It was a very enjoyable week. Thanks Agostinho!
