This tour was a great introduction our first evening in Bolzano. Claudia was informative and energetic about the city, a bit of history, some restaraunt recommendations and then of course the wines!

Claudia was a great guide. Very knowledgeable about the local areas and types of wines grown. Pointed out historic locations on tour. Visited two wine shops and had two different wines are each shop. Got a good taste of the most widely grown local wines.

Our tour guide, Paolo, took us on a short walk, pointed out a few important sites, and then we visited 2 bars. At each bar, we had 2 glasses of wine (whites and the first bar and reds at the second bar) and happy hour snacks (which were sparse). At the second bar, the server did not even show us the wine bottles. It was clear from the beginning that the tour guide did not want to be there. In fact, while at each bar, I had to carry the conversation. He made no attempt to make us feel welcome. Given the price of this tour, we expected more (specifically, more food, more information about Bolzano, and a more enthusiastic tour guide).

Paolo was extremely knowledgeable and took our wine preferences into consideration and was an excellent host. The conversation was extremely pleasant and we learned tons about the region and wine varietals grown here. Would definitely recommend for wine lovers.

It was great. Paolo was super friendly, open and a true South Tyrolean. It was great fun to walk through the old town with him and learn not only about wine but also about all sorts of exciting things. 10/10 Highly recommended. :-) Greetings from Zurich

My wife and I met Paolo for a wine tour. What a wonderful time with a fascinating and knowledgeable person. Paolo being a sommelier was able to share a tremendous amount of knowledge about the wines of NE Italy. We stopped at 2 different wine bars. The first we had 2 different whites. The second 2 different reds. His local knowledge of Bolzano added another dimension to our tour. Highly recommend.
