Discover Puerto Rico with our self-guided tour, exploring an island where 5 centuries of Spanish colonial history meet tropical rainforest, bioluminescent bays, and golden Caribbean beaches. Begin in Old San Juan — one of the oldest European settlements in the Americas — where the fortresses of El Morro and San Cristóbal have guarded the harbour since the 16th century. Walk the pastel facades of Calle del Cristo, peer through the gates of La Fortaleza — the oldest executive mansion in the Western Hemisphere — and step inside the second-oldest cathedral in the Americas. Beyond the capital, hike El Yunque, the only tropical rainforest in the US National Forest System, where waterfalls and the coquí tree frog create an enchanting wilderness. Relax on the palm-fringed sands of Luquillo Beach, kayak through Fajardo's lagoon, and explore the ornate Parque de Bombas in Ponce. From the Bacardí Distillery to the limestone window of Cueva Ventana, this tour reveals the diversity of the Island.

Castillo San Felipe del Morro
A massive 16th-century Spanish fortress — six levels of fortification rising 42 meters above the Atlantic Ocean at the tip of Old San Juan's headland. Built between 1539 and 1790 to defend the harbour from naval attack, El Morro's thick walls, tunnels, lighthouse, and sweeping ocean views make it Puerto Rico's most iconic historical site and a UNESCO World Heritage landmark.
Castillo De San Cristobal
The largest Spanish fortification in the Americas — a sprawling defensive complex of tunnels, moats, and outworks covering 27 acres on the eastern approach to Old San Juan. Built to repel land-based attacks, San Cristóbal features a network of underground passages, the Devil's Sentry Box perched on a cliff, and panoramic views stretching along the Atlantic coastline.
