Your experienced photographic guide and your driver (2 Guides onboard) will make sure you miss nothing and are taken care of with personal attention. Our vehicle is also fitted with 220 volt Sine wave inverters for charging batteries, phones, etc anytime when needed with USB and South African plug mounts. We do provide a professional equipment rental service via a third party and we offer free collection and delivery after the equipment is paid with the third party rental company. Accommodation is in basic 3 star bungalows clean and comfortable with airconditioning and a small kitchenette with a fridge. Staying in different camps does improve your exploration of Kruger Park searching for different species of animals and birds. Our tours are tailor-made and private to suit your needs, please contact us when making this booking for special requests.

If you book this trip we take care of all arrangments airport transfers, daily photographic safaris & accommodation. You just sit back and relax and take great photographs as we take care of the rest for you. You will be accompanied by two guides for the trip one to help you with spotting and camera settings and the other acting as your driver/guide. Both are experienced photographic guides.

5.00I recently completed a 6-day custom photography safari in Kruger with B1 Photo Safaris, and it was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. Bernhard and Hennie were phenomenal guides—deeply knowledgeable, incredibly skilled at spotting wildlife, and always focused on positioning us perfectly for the best photographic opportunities. Their ability to anticipate animal behavior and light conditions made a huge difference in the quality of my shots. Even when Bernhard had to leave due to an emergency, Hennie went above and beyond to ensure the trip remained special and seamless. His dedication, enthusiasm, and attention to detail truly stood out, and he made every effort to keep the experience enjoyable and productive. I came away not only with incredible images but also with a deep appreciation for their professionalism and passion. 5.00Amazing photography tour. The brothers are super friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They know not to just follow animals and possibly scare them away, but to anticipate where they will be and let the animals come to you for amazing opportunities. We were able to complete the big 5 within 24hrs and saw many more rare mammal species and birds than we ever expected. I wouldn’t recommend any other tour or operator in Kruger national park. This group is a must for private safaris or private photo safaris.

5.00Enjoyed a fantastic trip to Kruger around Satara and Skukuza camps with Bernard and Hennie from B1 Photo Safaris. Smooth logistics and excellent customer service meant that we could immerse ourselves in the surrounding wildlife. We maximised our time on drives and got some excellent sightings. I was privileged to see wild dogs on four separate occasions, all the Big 5, including three exceptional leopard sightings, including a mother and young cub, and a make leopard in a tree. B&H worked hard to be in the right place at the right time, and in position to get the best shots. Thoroughly recommend.

5.00It was an absolutely amazing experience. Bernhard and Hennie were incredible as guides, instructors, and travel companions. It was like traveling with close friends, who also happened to be phenomenal photo guides and instructors. We saw more wildlife than we could have imaged and obtained spectacular photos. I cannot recommend highly enough. I am already looking forward to my next trip with B1!

5.00What a safari! We just spent 4 days of madness and happiness with Bernhard and Hennie in the Kruger. This dream team doesn't count the hours or the miles to satisfy our curiosity. Their knowledge of the terrain and wildlife is matched only by their passion. We will never forget the madness of this morning where we just encontered the Big Five + wild dogs in less than 2 hours! The result is unforgettable encounters, emotional moments and so many beautiful photos that I can't even manage to choose and sort them. Thank you, bros. And see you soon for new adventures.

5.00I booked a private 6 day photo-safari in Krüger with B1 (the sister company of Private Krüger Safaris). The main focus was leopards. Booking process was easy - effecient, friendly and fast communication. I stayed 3 nights in Berg-en-Dal and 3 nights in Skukuza - lodge facilities were great (alot better than expected). We had 9 leopard encounters in 6 days and 2 cheetah encounters - several for a very good distance. Both Bernhard and Hennie are excellent and experienced drivers and animal trackers in Krüger - and eminent at positioning for best photo opportunity. I also learned alot about photography during the safari, which I can use to get better as photographer in the future. I can only give my highest recommendations! Henrik (Denmark)

5.00Just home from an amazing 6 day safari tour with B1 Photo Safaris. From start to finish, it was top class. Every day ran smoothly, with the pick-ups always being on time, the jeep was perfect for our needs with sandbags and gimbals for our cameras, and the sightings they found for us was amazing! I learnt so much about the animal behaviour and also some tips with my photography, and it definitely made a difference to the shots I got. We were spoilt with lion cubs, 3 Cheetah's, Wild dogs hunting, Leopards in trees and on the road, and so many beautiful African birds, I lost count. We had plenty of time for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but made the most of the time we had out searching for the animals. We stayed in Skukuza Camp, Lower Sabi and Satara camps so covered a lot of area in the 6 days. I cannot wait for another opportunity to book with them again, and would highly recommend them.

5.00This is my 3rd trip done with B1, Arno outdid himself this time around, each day delivered, Leopard and Lion sightings were phenomenal! If I look back at my photography, and see the improvements, all thanks to Arno. I can’t recommend this experience enough. I’m hooked. I will be back.
