Tarangire National Park

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you'll be welcomed by your private safari guide who will brief you on the adventure ahead. From there, begin your scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, a haven for elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy your first game drive as you enter the park, where sightings of lions, giraffes, and a variety of bird species are common along the Tarangire River. A picnic lunch will be served in the bush, offering a peaceful break surrounded by nature. Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, depart Serengeti with a final game drive en route, keeping an eye out for any wildlife you may have missed. Midday, you’ll begin your drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping optionally at Olduvai Gorge, a renowned archaeological site often called the “Cradle of Mankind.” Depending on your timing, you may descend into the Ngorongoro Crater this afternoon or rest up for a full descent the following morning. Arrive at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, one of the most spectacular lodges in Tanzania. Perched on the crater rim, every room offers a direct view of the caldera floor—home to over 25,000 animals.
