My son and I had a great time learning new cooking techniques in a relaxed atmosphere. Yuka was a wonderful host—so friendly, welcoming, and clearly an expert in her field. She guided us through a beautiful five-dish meal with clear, easy-to-follow instructions. She even kindly stepped in to save the day when my rolled omelet became a bit of a mess! The food was absolutely delicious and the local ingredients were excellent:

This was a fantastic experience. We learned about the different types of misos and soy sauces while we made our meal that included a Japanese rolled omelet, tuna onigiri, fried chicken, salad and sakuramochi for dessert. The lesson was organized and informative. Enjoyed every minute including dinner when completed.

I had a great experience with Yuka sensei at Chie's Kitchen. I am well versed in eating Japanese food but making it took my understanding to a new level. The facility is easy to get to, spacious and well equipped. Yuka's passion for teaching made the experience unforgettable. Walking me through the different types of soy, as well as miso, and their impact on the recipes was very helpful. The highlight of the experience is eating what I made during the class =) I highly recommend this session. I am already using the knowledge I gained during the class in my own cooking. My Japanese friends were surprised by my new Sakura Mochi making skills. I look forward to learning more from Yuka sensei during future trips.

It was a private meeting for me and my two friends with Yuko, who welcomed us warmly. She explained how to prepare different typical dishes, and we took photos of everything. At the end, we had lunch together. During the experience, we talked about food and Japanese culture. It was very interesting. I definitely recommend it!

Our family of four enjoyed learning how to prepare the five course meal. We especially liked tasting the different type of miso pastes and soy sauces. Our family would recommend this cooking class again. Thanks Mark
