This tour is the best way to experience the city in the manner of locals: by bike. This way you can savour the historic centre fully, the shading city walls and delicious local products while you keep yourself fit.

In colder months this tour takes place in the morning for better light and temperature conditions. Gelato will be replace with a cake and coffee and there can be changes to stops due to different winter time openings.

This is mainly a biking tour, the best way to discover the whole city of Lucca especially the less known sights. Food and drink are included to give a relaxing break along the riding.

In case of rain we can not cancel the tour but we can give you the option to have a walking tour with the same itinerary.

Children are considered only if under 12 and they will have a children bike and a children menu

What To Expect

Lucca

Your tour begins at the Railway station (at the main entrance) and in few yards we reach the rental shop to take our bikes and to be ready for the discovery of this fascinating bike friendly town. You will soon realize how the green space and the bike routes give a privilege visit of Lucca.

Le Mura di Lucca

The ride continues on the top and around the town walls: you will enjoy an outstanding view of the city centre, a gorgeous vista on the surrounding countryside and understand the history and the construction of the fortification during the centuries. Your guide will give you the chance to explore secret passages and hidden sites that you couldn't find on your own.

Claudio did a great job introducing us to Lucca with her interesting stories by bike. The sampler plate and ice cream was yummy too. I would recommend!

Marta was AMAZING! I couldn’t speak more Highly of her. She was so knowledgeable about area, very friendly and answered all of our questions with confidence. We had such a great experience on the tour with her. It was nice to hear about the history in Lucca and enjoy local wines, cheeses and gelato. I do think the gelato was the best we have had in Italy! I would recommend this company and Marta to anyone and everyone.

We had a great experience. From checkin through the tour with a few stops to cover history and the tasty local savory and sweet eats- this was exactly the type of family fun we were looking for.

I’m not so good at cycling but I can manage the tour at ease. Thanks Luca for showing us around and sharing history of the city. We love the food, gelato and the great conversations! We highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a chill ride while exploring this bike friendly city.

Chiara our guide was informative, friendly and fun. We learnt so much about the history of Lucca while cycling around the city. The food was traditional and tasty and the gelato to finish off with was divine.
