Discover the most authentic and popular side of southern Mexico City in “Route of Azteca Stadium: murals, tacos and pulque”. In this experience we will tour the surroundings of the iconic Azteca Stadium to learn the history of the most legendary stadium in Mexico and one of the few in the world that has received two World Cups. We will walk through the streets of the Pedregal de Santa Ursula, a neighborhood full of identity, urban culture and football memory, where we will observe murals and expressions of street art that narrate daily life, passion for football and the essence of the local community.
During the tour we will enjoy a gastronomic stop to taste delicious tacos prepared in the traditional style and taste pulque, the ancient “drink of the gods”, one of the oldest heritages of Mexican culture. This experience blends history, urban art and popular flavors to discover a vibrant and untouristic facet of Mexico City.

That was a wonderful tour. We visited the Azteca and there were many restrictions because the World Cup was starting the very next day but had a great chance to learn about its history and its influence on the neighborhood, then we walked around the neighborhood and tired great tacos and drinks . Thank you Edgar.
