When Stockholm's museums have locked their ancient doors, when the stores are all closed and people have retreated to the safety of their homes, this is when the empty streets of Stockholm's Old Town are handed over to the spirits, legends and to us. Stockholm's past will come to life on this 1,5 hour walking tour.

If you fall down some old stairs, slip on a cobblestone, be set alight, squashed by a falling dead body, infected with the plague or even have all your hair turn white from fright, then we cannot be held responsible. The real star of the evening was the tour guide. Equal parts historian, storyteller, actor, and comedian, they managed to bring centuries of Stockholm's past to life with remarkable energy and authenticity. It's one thing to recite historical facts; it's another to make medieval executions, royal scandals, plagues, murders, and ghostly legends feel genuinely captivating. The guide accomplished exactly that. As we wandered through the atmospheric alleyways and hidden corners of Gamla Stan, every narrow cobblestone street seemed to reveal another tale of intrigue, mystery, or misfortune. The stories were delivered with perfect timing, dramatic flair, and just the right amount of humor.
