Tarangire National Park

After a hearty breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, a gem known for its vast savannahs dotted with ancient baobab trees and its spectacular herds of elephants. A full-day game drive awaits, offering chances to see lions, giraffes, zebras, and the park’s prolific birdlife. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild before continuing your exploration. In the evening, arrive at Lake Burunge Tented Lodge, where you can relax with views of Lake Burunge and perhaps spot wildlife from your private deck. Optional nature walks or Maasai cultural visits are available upon request.

Serengeti National Park

Today’s journey takes you from Tarangire to the iconic Serengeti National Park, with a scenic drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy game viewing as the landscape transitions from woodlands to open plains. In the afternoon, enter the Serengeti for your first taste of its endless savannahs, known for lions, cheetahs, elephants, and depending on the time of year, the Great Migration. You’ll arrive at Luxury Tented Camp, a luxury retreat that offers sweeping views and immersive wildlife experiences right at your doorstep.

Serengeti National Park

Spend the entire day immersed in the heart of the Serengeti on morning and afternoon game drives. With your expert guide, explore different habitats in search of the Big Five, elusive leopards, massive herds of wildebeest and zebra, and a variety of bird species. If you're traveling during the migration season, prepare to witness one of nature’s greatest spectacles. For a truly unforgettable experience, opt for a sunrise hot-air balloon safari (additional cost) followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush. Return to Tukaone Weavers Tented Camp for a gourmet dinner and storytelling by the campfire.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast and a final morning game drive, depart the Serengeti and make your way to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, pausing for scenic moments and wildlife encounters en route. If time allows, begin your descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest inactive caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its dense concentration of wildlife and dramatic landscapes, it's a photographer’s paradise. In the evening, arrive at Ngorongoro Farm House, a charming lodge nestled among coffee plantations and lush gardens—perfect for a restful evening.

Ngorongoro Crater

Start the day early with a full descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural amphitheater teeming with wildlife including rhinos, lions, elephants, and flamingos. Your expert guide will lead you on a half-day game drive through the crater floor, where a picnic lunch by a hippo-filled lake adds to the experience. After an unforgettable morning, begin the scenic drive back to Arusha, with the option to be dropped off at your hotel or directly at the airport for your departure flight.
