The Serengeti National Park is made up of grassland Savannah, riverine forest, and woodlands, each providing a picturesque landscape. Known for its abundant diversity of wildlife, this park is most famous for the annual migration, a spectacular event as thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes try to cross the Mara River into Masai Mara while fighting the river tide and the numerous crocodiles looking for an easy meal. There will be a stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint, which, on a clear day, offers stunning views of the entire crater. Enjoy another early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park before continuing to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, we head along the crater rim to Seneto Gate on the western side and descend into the Crater Floor on an adventures path – what an impressive view! The Ngorongoro Crater provides a home for a vast number of animals because of its reliable water availability. Animals frequently move in and out. The number of wildebeests and zebras increases during the dry season, whereas the numbers of elands, elephants and water-bucks increase during the wet season. Search for the ‘Big Five‘ – buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion and the black rhinoceros. The crater is one of the only two places in Tanzania where you can still observe the highly threatened back rhinoceros. After intensive game viewing, stop for lunch in the afternoon and in the late afternoon, proceed to your accommodation in Mto wa Mbu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Materuni Waterfalls
The tour guide will pick you up at the hotel and welcome you to the Chemka Hot Springs and Materuni tour. You'll proceed to Materuni Waterfalls, which are located under the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. It is a very impressive waterfall, one of the tallest in the area, spewing crystal clear glacier water 70cm into the basin. The beautiful path leading to the waterfalls crosses valleys and hills covered by tropical rainforests, past coffee, bananas, avocados, and tree species. You will get a local lunch prepared by the Chagga community if you like. Afterward, you'll leave for Chemka Hot Springs. The road is bumpy, so driving takes more than 40 minutes. During the trip, you'll enjoy the wonderful scenery and see authentic Tanzanian life. You can swim, relax, eat your lunch, and enjoy the sun. After that adventure, as it is your last day, you will be driven to the airport or a hotel of your choice.

My girlfriend and I recently finished a peaceful journey with Kibo Mawenzi Safaris in Tanzania. We booked a 6 day private safari. We explored Tarangire, Serengeti Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. Each park exploring was amazing and very exciting. Our guide was friendly, experienced, and genuinely interested in showcasing Tanzania's wildlife and culture. We were very satisfied and very grateful to Kibo Mawenzi Safaris. We would like to happily recommend them.

Choosing Kibo Mawenzi Safaris for our Tanzania safari was definitely the right and great decision. Over 6 incredible days, we explored 4 most beautiful Tanzania National Park, the Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater. The camping equipment was clean and comfortable, the food was surprisingly good, and our guide worked hard to ensure we saw rare animals during the game drives. An unforgettable moment was when we saw elephants calmly walking past our jeep at sunset in Tarangire. Another highlight was seeing hyenas and lions interacting inside the Ngorongoro Crater early in the morning. Seeing Mount Kilimanjaro from a distance on our last day completed the trip perfectly. The experience was natural, exciting, and deeply satisfying for all of us.

We contacted Brian before the trip, and we asked him about our 6 day Kilimanjaro trek, he explained everything to us and was honestly a very good planner. Our October 2025 Kilimanjaro climb with friends was an experience that will stay with me forever. The 6-day Marangaru route allowed us to move at a steady pace, giving our bodies time to adapt and our minds time to appreciate the journey & a big thank you Kibo Mawenzi Safaris for their professional maintenance. Every morning felt like stepping into a new world, with changing scenery and fresh air filling our lungs. October offered calm weather and peaceful trails, which made the climb feel intimate and special. There were moments of exhaustion, doubt, and silence-but also moments of deep conversation, encouragement, and laughter. The journey was challenging and emotional, it was gave us confidence and unforgettable memories. Recommend 6 day trekking via Marangaru route.
