Start with a guided walking tour of Aix-en-Provence. Visit: Fontaine de la Rotonde, Cours Mirabeau, Place d’Albertas, and the Cathedral Saint-Sauveur. Learn about the Roman origins and aristocratic past of the city.

Visit Atelier de Cézanne, the preserved studio of Paul Cézanne. Optional short hike or drive to Terrain des Peintres (Cézanne’s Viewpoint of Montagne Sainte-Victoire).

Chateauneuf-du-Pape
Afternoon – Wine Experience in Châteauneuf-du-Pape Drive (~30 mins) to Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine country. Visit two prestigious estates for vineyard tours and tastings. Option: Include a blind tasting workshop or cellar visit.

Evening – Sunset & Scenic Drive Return via the scenic Luberon. Dinner option: local auberge with regional chateaux, or back in Aix for a more urban evening.

Morning – Les Baux-de-Provence Explore the dramatic hilltop castle ruins and medieval village. Visit the immersive Carrières des Lumières (art and light show projected inside a stone quarry – often Van Gogh, Monet, or Dalí).

Lunch – Scenic Winery Lunch and tasting at a nearby Domaine, combining gastronomy and wine.
Arles
Afternoon – Arles: Van Gogh & Roman Heritage Explore the ancient Roman amphitheatre and Theatre Antique. Follow the Van Gogh walking trail to see spots he painted, like Café Terrace at Night. Optional: Visit the Fondation Vincent van Gogh or LUMA Arles, the contemporary arts campus.

5.00In our 10 days in France this was one of the biggest highlights of our experience. We went with an adorable guide dog to forge for truffles at two brothers' family truffle farm. One of the brothers who is a master chef then treated us a multi-course meal including our fresh finds. Exceptional and having eating at many Michelin-starred restaurants over the years this easily ranked with the best thanks to the serene environment, personalized and heartfelt service and of course the company of our guide Benjamin. He is a wealth of information and after lunch took us on a tour of a charming nearby town with a deep and rich history that he brought to life for us. Exceptional experience and can't possibly recommend it more highly.
